Belleek Standards began in 1989 and poodle puppies have enriched the lives of poodle lovers for many years. We are AKC members, in good standing, and members of our Breed Club. We show our dogs in the Confirmation Competition.

Anne Theriault is the principal of the Show and Breeding Kennel, as well as Founder and President of the Poodle Club of New England. 

She is absolutely delighted her sister, Rita Theriault Moore, has recently joined her at Belleek Farms. Together we intend to continue to breed beautiful, loving, home-raised poodles. Our poodles are bred according to The Poodle Club of America Breed Standard. We have been and always will be committed to breeding healthy, well tempered poodles.

The poodle’s general appearance, carriage and condition is that of a very active, intelligent, clownish yet elegant appearing dog, square built, well proportioned, moving soundly and carrying himself proudly.

The Standard Poodle is over 15 inches at the highest point of the shoulders. The Miniature Poodle is 15 inches or less at the highest point of the shoulders and more than 10 inches. The Poodle temperament is easy going, social, athletic and highly intelligent.
